How much does professional pool maintenance cost?
According to public price guides (Travaux.com, Toutemapiscine), a standard maintenance visit is observed between 50 and 70 € per visit, a full pool clean between 80 and 200 €, and an hourly rate between 50 and 90 €. On QuiPeut, the price is the one each professional writes in their answer to your request, not an average.
When should a pool be winterised?
When the water stays below 12 degrees: before mid-October in northern France, up to late October or early November in the south, from mid-September in mountain areas (source: mypiscine.com). Post your request a few weeks ahead and pool professionals in your area propose a date.
When should a pool be restarted?
In March or April, when the water sits between 12 and 15 degrees, before algae return. A start-up on a pool in good condition begins at around 300 €, while a start-up with green water recovery is observed between 600 and 2,200 € (source: Entretiendejardin). Describe the state of the pool in your request: answers will be more accurate.
Does pool maintenance qualify for the French tax credit?
Not in full. The official list of personal services excludes swimming pools, and since the circular of 11 April 2019 only cleaning the surrounds and the equipment (shutter, cover, shelter, plant room) with a broom or a brush qualifies. Maintaining the pool, treating the water and cleaning filters do not. Each service above says whether it qualifies, and the pro must be registered as a personal services provider.
